FAQs

What heat and airflow settings should I use with Diffon Pro Curl?

There is no single perfect setting for every curl. The best combination depends on your hair density, length, porosity and the result you want.

As a general starting point:

  • Fine, delicate or heat-sensitive curls: start with lower temperature and airflow.
  • Medium curls: begin in the middle of the range and adjust as needed.
  • Thicker or denser curls: you may prefer more heat or airflow during the early stages of drying.
  • Pixie diffusing: lower airflow can help minimise movement while curls sit in the diffuser.
  • Hover diffusing: you can use more airflow because the diffuser is not directly cupping the curls.

Start gently and experiment. Pro Curl's 21 speed and temperature combinations are designed to let you personalise your routine rather than forcing every curl type to use the same settings.
